The annual meeting of Associated Professional Sleep Societies, in Seattle revealed interesting news to the public on June 8 that children taking daytime naps enjoyed greater benefits than those who did not. The nap not only gives the caretakers a break to take rest it also helps the children by reducing their anxiety level, hyperactivity and depression. The study was carried on for a period of 3.4 weeks with inputs from parents and caretakers about their children’s nap timings.
